Covid-19 guest charter
What are we doing to ensure guests have a safe stay at Quaker Barns?
Firstly, Hall Barn and Quaker Barn are being cleaned and sanitised to COVID-19 ready guidelines from The Professional Association of Self-Caterers (PASC UK), the AA and VisitBritain.
We have extended our changeover times and request that guests do not arrive before 5:00 pm and depart by 9.30 am at the latest. This is to provide more time for our housekeepers to clean according to the new protocol. The cleaning products we use are those recommended by PASC UK.
A pedal powered hand sanitiser has been installed outside the Barns for use before entering the properties. The Barns are accessed by a key code pad which will have been disinfected, as will other main touch points such as door handles and light switches. The whole property will have been cleaned and then sanitised. Laundry is professionally cleaned at a high temperature in accordance with Government guidelines.
Hall Barn and Quaker Barn are a little bare because we have removed all books, board games and toys to reduce the risk of infection transmission.
If possible, we request that guests refrain from asking us to enter the Barns during their stay. If any appliance isn’t working we will advise how to fix it, and if someone does have to come to the property we will arrange for this to be at a time when guests are out and the property is empty.
Of course, we hope everyone will remain healthy throughout their stay but in the event of becoming unwell with virus symptoms guests should inform us immediately and also contact the NHS.
